Questions we get asked a lot.

I'm not in the Caribbean — can I still use these products?

Yes. Our products are built to work anywhere, we just design them with Caribbean realities in mind first (multi-currency, mobile-first, offline-tolerant). If you're a U.S. or international customer, everything works the same—and TamarindPay, Exact Path, and MangoBoard all support USD-only setups.

Can I use multiple Brown Bag products together?

Yes, and several are designed to. TamarindPay invoices can be scheduled as tasks in Exact Path. MangoBoard can pull menu items from My Island Link. Budget Harbor and Rooted are built for personal use and stand alone. Sign in once with the same Brown Bag account for all of them.

Which product should I start with?

If you're a service business chasing payments, start with TamarindPay. If you run a restaurant or retail space, MangoBoard or My Island Link. If you're managing a team or ministry, Exact Path. For personal tools, pick Budget Harbor or Rooted. Not sure? Book a demo and we'll recommend one.

How do you handle data privacy and payment security?

All Brown Bag products use encrypted connections (TLS 1.3) and store data encrypted at rest. Payment processing in TamarindPay is handled through PCI-compliant gateways—we never store full card numbers. We don't sell or share customer data, and we support data export and deletion on request.

What happens if I cancel?

You can cancel anytime with no cancellation fee. You keep access through the end of your billing period, then your account downgrades to read-only. You can export your data at any time (CSV for most products, PDF for invoices). Free tiers stay free indefinitely—no account deletion just because you stop paying.

Do you offer onboarding or training?

For TamarindPay, MangoBoard, and Exact Path business plans, we include a 30-minute onboarding call plus email support. For MangoBoard Fleet (10+ screens), we offer on-site setup and training in The Bahamas and by arrangement elsewhere in the Caribbean. Contact us for details.

Do you take on custom development projects?

Occasionally, yes. We build custom platforms for airlines, ministries, and regional brands when the project fits our focus areas. Reach out with a short description and budget range and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a fit.

When will the products marked "Coming Soon" or "Waitlist" be available?

Exact Path is in active development with a private beta starting in the next quarter. Budget Harbor and Rooted are on our roadmap—join their waitlists via the product pages to get first access and a founder discount at launch.
